Met Gala 2017: The Best Celebrity Looks

Get the first look at the best-dressed celebrities from the Met Gala 2017, straight from the red carpet. From Kylie Jenner and Cara Delevinge to Rihanna, get set to swoon at the dreamiest couture looks from the biggest night on the fashion calendar, with this year’s theme honouring avant-garde designer Rei Kawakubo of Commes des Garçons.

Kylie Jenner & Donatella Versace

As well as breaking the ‘no selfie’ rule with a bathroom snap (someone had to do it), Kylie Jenner went for full-on glamour with a barely-there mesh Versace gown, dripping with jewels. Rocking a platinum bob wig, the TV personality and model had the edge on everyone else with the ultimate red carpet accessory – fashion legend Donatella Versace. Too cool.

Lily Collins

Lily Collins showed off her vampy side for the annual fashion fundraiser, stepping out in a pink princess gown with a black corseted top, designed by Giambattista Valli. The actress turned up the glam-goth vibes with a short black bob (so flapper girl) and a dark berry lip, giving us life with her signature bold brows.

Rihanna

Rihanna slayed the night with a show-stopping Comme des Garçons wonder, featuring multiple layers of 3D petals in a mix of floral prints. The singer styled her extravagant look with lace-up red heels, and showcased a brand new beauty trend with an intense glow of pink highlighter across her cheekbones. One word: obsessed.

Lily-Rose Depp, Cara Delevinge & Jemima Kirke

The new #squadgoals? We want in! Lily-Rose Depp, Cara Delevinge and Jemima Kirke got their girl gang on with three lust-worthy looks from Chanel that got everyone talking. From those dreamy couture gowns to that silver space-age suit, this fierce fash pack got it more than right for the star-studded night.

Blake Lively

Blake Lively had us throwing major heart-eyes with a gold, beaded Atelier Versace gown, complete with flamboyant blue feathers on the train. Slicking her hair back into a power ponytail, the actress further proved that all that glitters is gold with statement sparklers from Lorraine Schwartz.

Zendaya

Zendaya shut down the Met ball with an off-the-shoulder Dolce & Gabbana gown, featuring a bold tropical parrot print in sunshine shades of orange and yellow. The actress and singer went XXL with a full skirt and sweeping train, finishing the look with her larger-than-life Afro. Perfection.
