Festival season: it’s on. Get #InTheMoment with an exclusive first look at Island Life – this summer’s first festival straight from Osea Island, just off the coast of Essex (say what?!). From the hottest new headliners (oh hey, Sigrid!) and festival fashion trends to all the fun in the sun, here are our highlights from one of the coolest dates on the 2017 agenda.

The Vibe
Pool parties, sunshine vibes and more inflatables than we could count: Island Life had us dosed up on those ultimate summer feels. We started the day chilling out with some of our favourite babes – including Tasha Green, Lina Mar, Heather Moorhouse, Zoe London and Rady – before we went full-on festival with Island Life’s hottest happenings.
After making a cheeky ‘lil pit-stop at our yurt (glamping at its finest), we joined the rest of the gang for a whole host of summer LOLs – we’re talking rounders, bike rides and tennis tournaments with Sean Paul (not even joking). Burgers, jerk chicken and cocktail ice lollies made up our festival eats, snacked on in the sunshine and around the late-night bonfire.
The Style
The festival fash pack were out in full force for Island Life, giving us a sneak peek of the most mega trends of summer ’17. We were vibin’ over vlogger queens Tasha Green and Lina Mar in their boho-luxe get-ups (all Accessorize, FYI), while Leanne Walker gave us life with her swish shades and Insta-worthy unicorn hair. Mercedes Benson, AJ Odudu and Alya Mooro also popped over to say hey, and soon had us obsessed with their sequin bags, cut-off denim and glam gold jewels. We also chatted all things style with with Island Life headliner and bright young thing Sigrid – trust us, this girl’s gonna be huge.
The Tunes
As the sun went down, Osea Island turned up the volume. Sigrid, the freshest new singer-songwriter on the scene, took to the stage with the most-hyped tracks from her latest EP (Don’t Kill My Vibe = such a tune), followed closely by the dreamy tempos of alt-pop duo Oh Wonder and Brit boy Joe Fox. When day turned to night, a whole lotta magic happened inside The Factory – a disused, industrial-style barn that made the best backdrop for all those festival selfies. Sean Paul brought the house down with his dutty beats, before the crowd got down to the sounds of Angel, Bossman Birdie, Fekky and Donae’O. Too good.
