The Inspiration

Proving that every summer has a story, our print designer Alice created a hand-painted postcard of the Amalfi Coast, inspired by the time she spent painting there with her dad. The freedom that he expressed in his work was a key influence for Alice and she was keen to evoke the same feeling in her own print.

An iconic holiday destination known for its cliff-clinging abodes and craggy mountains plunging deep into the crisp blue waters of the Mediterranean, the natural beauty of the Amalfi Coast has been depicted with bold, vivid colours and the artful layering of florals and fruit. The SS19 collections of Michael Kors and REDValentino also served up style inspiration, with both designers having showcased vacation prints on the most recent runways.

Conjuring up memories of summers past, our exclusively-designed Amalfi Vacation print can be found across this season’s key accessories, from vinyl totes and embellished clutch bags to wind-blown scarves, crafted from recycled materials.
