A bad hair day can well and truly make or break a day (and night). So, we’ve taken some classic hairstyles and given then a makeover – complete with stunning accessories, of course. 

We ventured to Duck and Dry’s Soho salon to create some party-ready tutorials to inspire your next look.

First up, a more-is-more take on elegant braids, with inspiration for day and night.

STEP 1

Tie the top half of your hair up and out of the way and tie layered skinny scarves around the head. Release the top half of your hair and create a low and thick plait, weaving the scarves in with your hair.

STEP 2

Loosen up the hair and adjust to create a trending thicker look. And that’s a wrap! Say hello to your new everyday hair look.

DANCE ALL NIGHT

Get your braid party-ready with a little extra dazzle and shine with a crystal braid. 

STEP 1

Create a sleek dutch plait (an inverted French plait, where three hair sections are crossed under each other rather than over). 

STEP 2

For a festive twist, carefully weave our crystal strands into the plait and secure. Spritz your hair so it stays in put all night long.
