Surviving the month of January = a definite medal-worthy feat. And while we’re not saying you shouldn’t rock a gold coin on the regular (you do you, babe), we *have* got a whole heap of new-in accessories that you can also treat yourself to – y’know, just in case you need another way to mark your achievement.  Enter the February edit…

1. The Tassel Earrings

What did we do before tassel earrings came into our lives? Literally no idea. Update your collection (yet again) with the power pairs that are flashing up on the February radar – think major metallics, dusky pastel palettes and so-fancy feathers.

3. The Statement Jewels

Now that spring is almost in sight, it’s time to bust out the florals in celebration – and we think statement jewels are the best place to start. Give your collar some colour with need-now necklaces covered in bejewelled blooms and – if you’re feeling brave – twin till you win with matchy-matchy earrings.

4. The Hoop Earrings

Hoops + bows = the cutest combo of our February wardrobes. Swoon over fashion’s new favourite pairing with these dainty dropped hoops, made all the more extra with pretty pink ribbons for all the 90s teen flick feels.

5. The Floral Bags

If the weather still isn’t playing ball then a few more florals should get you firmly in the mood for spring – no matter how grey it’s looking outside.  Bag yourself a beaut with a swish ‘lil clutch (wedding season, we’re coming for ya) or a shoulder bag in candy-coloured hues, both embroidered with freshly-picked flowers.

Natalie Glaze: My 2018 Vision Board

Congrats – you made it through the first few weeks of the 2k18. And no matter where you are with your new years’ resolutions, it’s always motivating to hear how our fave babes are getting on with theirs – especially when it comes to giving us that ‘lil boost we so need. So get ready to #LiveYourBestLife as we catch up with Natalie Glaze, UK food, fitness and travel blogger, and find out what she’s set her sights on for 2018.

My Vision Board

For me, 2018 is about adventure, exploring and creating beautiful memories. It’s about creativity and pushing my boundaries with my photos and projects which excite me. Doing more things with people who make me forget to look at my phone. Doing more things that make me happy like drinking tea, eating chocolate, swimming in the sea and buying more plants. Looking up more because the sky and buildings are beautiful. Seeing more sunsets. Moving for the love of movement and exercising because it’s great for my mind. 2018 is also going to be the year that I pick up more books I have been promising myself I would read. I want to have adventures but also get lost in the adventures that are books. 2018 is the year for happiness, love, creativity, movement… attempting to find a balance, making mistakes because we are all human, doing new things. 2018 like every year is the year I want to live my best life.

Top 10 Prom Looks from the Big Screen

Not gonna lie, prom night is our fave thing to come from across the pond. And being the biggest deal of like, your whole school life, the dress code has to be ‘pull out all the stops’, right? That’s why we’ve lined up some of our favourite prom looks from the big screen, here to give you all the inspiration for the fanciest night of the year. From Blair Waldorf to Cady Heron, these leading ladies do it just right.

1. Sam Montgomery in A Cinderella Story

While we’ll never fully understand how her Prince Charming couldn’t tell who she was *eyeroll*, Sam’s masquerade look adds a little mystery to her end-of-year dance. Angelic white + all the sparkles = fairytale.

2. Kat in 10 Things I Hate About You

For all her in-your-face attitude, Kat’s prom look was pared-back and totally nineties. With cami straps and a string of pearls, this chic get-up is one that’ll survive the family photo album rounds for years to come.

3. Cady Heron in Mean Girls

OK, Cady screwed up a lot during her time at North Shore High – but one thing she smashed was prom night. The track jacket isn’t exactly the glam look we had in mind, but everything about this Mathletes mash-up means she stuck to her true self, and that deserves a crown surely.

4. Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl

Blair’s prom dress had us on the edge of our seats even more than her jaw-dropping antics on Gossip Girl. Channelling all the couture vibes (only the best for Queen B, natch) her Marchesa gown has a total princess shape and opulent gold details.

5. Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

When you’ve got magic on your side, there’s no excuse not to be your best self at prom. In pretty pink with femme-fabulous ruffles, it seems like Hermione did some timeturner tricks to make her Yule Ball look feel so this-season.

6. Taylor in She’s All That

We weren’t a fan of  her nasty ways, but when it comes to Taylor’s prom look we’ve only got love. This ultra-glam gown is oh-so-extra, but on the biggest night in your high school calendar, why the hell not?

7. Eleven in Stranger Things

Forget slaying demodogs, the biggest scenes were on the dance floor for Eleven and Mike. In the ultimate ‘80s throwback, she rocks puff sleeves like a pro and ties things together with a belt that says ‘I don’t try too hard’.

8. Gabrielle in High School Musical 3: Senior Year

Amidst their freak-outs about graduating, Troy and Gabrielle managed to look like megastars for their final performance. This gorgeous mini puts a modern spin on prom dressing, and the pretty flower corsage adds a touch of the tradish.

9. Hannah, Emily, Spencer and Aria in Pretty Little Liars

They didn’t know who A was, but Hannah, Emily, Spencer and Aria took their A-game to prom with look-at-me dresses and moody black liner. These PLL huns chose floor-length styles for all the drama and had us totally transfixed.

10. Sandy in Grease

Summer lovin’ happened so fast, but Sandy’s prom dress has stayed an icon for the long run. Swishy layers and retro vibes make this cutesy frock perfect for Pink Lades in the making.

Copper Garden: My 2018 Vision Board

Whether you’re smashing or slippin’ up on your new year’s resolutions, we could all do with a little bit of motivation to keep us on firmly on track. That’s why we spoke to Jess, style and travel blogger at Copper Garden, to find out she’s going about turning her dreams into reality… it’s time to #LiveYourBestLife.

My Vision Board

I love making resolutions and setting realistic goals for each year. For 2018, my main focus is to be more free and adventurous. Throughout the year, I want to travel to at least five new destinations and explore the culture through more than just a YouTube video. This kind of goes hand in hand with wanting to leave my comfort zone and do things that I would usually have tried to shy away from. Someone once told me that magic happens when you leave your comfort zone and having proved this twice, I’m determined to keep moving forward in the right direction. My other resolutions include making bolder fashion choices – like wearing statement earrings more often or actually giving colour a try. And finally, to focus on my health and wellbeing because if you’re not looking after number one, how can you live your best life?!

Shelley Morecroft: My 2018 Vision Board

2018 is in full swing – and this year, we’re all about living our best lives. To spread the feel-good vibes (and keep us motivated in bleak, bleak winter), we asked our fave blogger babes to share their game-changing goals with us through Insta-worthy vision boards – and ngl, they’re giving us life right now. First up: Shelley Morecroft, London-based petite fashion blogger at www.shelleymorecroft.co.uk. Here’s what she had to say…

My Vision Board

My main goal for 2018 is to travel more. I can’t wait to see more the world! I also want to become more confident in wearing vibrant colours and bold patterns, and what better way to do so than to wear the most stunning bikinis on a lovely holiday? The new year is also about staying true to myself. As Diane von Furstenberg one said, “Jewellery is like the perfect spice – it always complements what’s already there”. So I’ll be investing in new jewellery pieces to give me that last boost I need to rock any outfit and feel like I can conquer anything.

The Elle Next Door: My New Year Trend Edit

Need some newness in your wardrobe for 2018? We asked Ellie Adams, blogger babe at The Elle Next Door, to show us the bags, jewels and accessories that she’s crushin’ on right now. Here are her favourite five trends…

1. The Winter Warmers

I absolutely adore this combo – each piece is super-cosy and the colours work beautifully together to create the perfect wintery, girly look! The grey sequin hat has become a winter staple as it’s thermal so it keeps you toasty all day long. The matching mittens are also really cute – they keep your hands warm and they let you use your phone at the same time too. Practical and pretty! The scarf is another current wardrobe favourite. In a deep fuschia pink, this stand-out piece is so thick, cosy and beautifully soft too. Once you wrap yourself up in it, I promise you’ll never want to take it off.

Shop Winter >

2. The Metallic Backpack

Backpacks are such a key trend for this winter, as well as metallic – so this is definitely your go-to bag. I love that it looks amazing whilst also being super-practical.

Shop Backpacks >

3. The Fairisle Knits

One thing Accessorize do incredibly well is matching accessories, and this Fairisle knitted beanie hat and mittens are a perfect example of this. The beautiful, bright pattern do all the talking, meaning you can wear it with a neutral, effortless outfit.

Shop Winter >

4. The Embellished Bag

This stunning embellished bag is the perfect piece for a dressier occasion, and I adore the nude-hued, jewel tones as it just goes with so many looks and outfits.

Shop Cross-Body Bags > | Shop Clutch Bags >

5. Rose Gold Jewellery

Accessorize have been my go-to high street jewellery brand for a while now because not only do they nail every trend, but they also make classic wearable pieces too – just like these new season styles. This rose gold watch is beautifully flattering, chic and sophisticated, and these pretty stacking rings complement each other so well. I also love these layering bracelets – I’m much more of a fan of delicate jewellery than large statement pieces, and this bracelet is my favourite way of layering up without ever looking over the top.
